Roundabout Announces 2018 Underground Reading Series Lineup

The series takes place January 22-26.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the selections for its five-night Roundabout Underground Reading Series, set to take place January 22-26, 2018, in the Black Box Theatre at The Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre.

The lineup is as follows:

Monday, January 22, at 7pm
Graveyard Shift
By Korde Arrington Tuttle, directed by Whitney White

Tuesday, January 23, at 7pm
Something Clean
By Selina Fillinger, directed by Margot Bordelon

Wednesday, January 24, at 7pm
This Bitter Earth
By Harrison David Rivers, directed by David Mendizábal

Thursday, January 25, at 7pm
Darling Grenadine
Book, music, and lyrics by Daniel Zaitchik; director to be announced

Friday, January 26, at 7pm
Engines and Instruments of Flight: A Fantasia
By Calamity West, directed by Kent Nicholson

Roundabout Underground is an initiative to introduce and cultivate artists in Roundabout's 62-seat black box space. Plays that have premiered as part of the initiative include Speech & Debate and Bad Jews, among others.
