Ruthless! The Musical to Return to Off-Broadway

Tori Murray, star of the recent Triad Theatre run, will reprise the role of Tina Denmark.

Joel Paley and Marvin Laird's Ruthless! The Musical will return to off-Broadway beginning June 25. The St. Luke's Theatre run has an opening night set for July 13 and is currently selling tickets through September 12. Paley is set to direct.

In this cult favorite, the beautiful and talented 8-year-old Tina Denmark will do anything to play the lead in the school play. The show famously spoofs Broadway musicals such as Gypsy and Mame, as well as classic films including The Bad Seed and All About Eve, and the role of Tina was an early career stop for the likes of Laura Bell Bundy, Britney Spears, and Natalie Portman.

Tori Murray, who starred in a recent run at Stage 72 at the Triad Theatre, will reprise the role of Tina. The cast will also feature Tracy Jai Edwards, Peter Land, Kim Maresca, Rita McKenzie, and Zoie Morris.
