Roundabout Theatre Company has announced a national tour of Sam Mendes and Rob Marshall's Tony-winning production of Cabaret. Part of the company's 50th anniversary season, the tour is set to launch in January 2016 and will visit over 20 North American cities.

The Kander and Ebb musical, based on the stories of Christopher Isherwood and John Van Druten's drama I Am a Camera, is now running at Studio 54. The revival production, which first opened in 1998, returned to Roundabout's Broadway home in April 2014 with its Tony-winning Emcee Alan Cumming and Oscar nominee Michelle Williams as Sally Bowles. The cast is currently led by Cumming and Golden Globe Award nominee Emma Stone.

During its initial 1998 mounting, the production earned four Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical, and played a total of 2,378 performances before concluding its run on January 4, 2004. The creative team for Cabaret features set design by Robert Brill, costume design by William Ivey Long, lighting design by Peggy Eisenhauer and Mike Baldassari, and sound design by Brian Ronan.
