Award-winning singer-songwriter Shaina Taub has announced the release of a second full-length solo album. Die Happy will be released exclusively on Bandcamp on Tuesday, May 1, and will be released widely on all digital platforms later this year. Her previous album was Visitors (2015).

"This album contains the most personal and most political songs I’ve ever recorded," Taub said in a statement. "I wrote them over a time of great change in the country and my own life. Die Happy is both a reckoning with adulthood and a celebration of love in the face of fear."

Taub will celebrate the release with a special one-night-only concert and release party on Tuesday, May 15, at 7pm at Joe's Pub at the Public Theater. She will also preview songs from the album at her March 27 and April 23 shows at Joe's Pub.

Taub's musical adaptation of Twelfth Night is scheduled for an encore run in the Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park 2018 season.
