Young Jean Lee's Straight White Men has begun performances at the Public Theater. Directed by the author, the play officially opens on November 17 and runs through December 7.

The new play, a presentation of the Public and Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, stars Austin Pendleton as Ed, the father of three adult sons who come together on Christmas Eve for a night of pranks, takeout, and trash-talking.

Ed's three sons are played by Pete Simpson (as Drew), James Stanley (as Matt), and Gary Wilmes (as Jake).
