Donald Margulies' new play, The Country House, opened at Manhattan Theatre Club's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre on October 2. Daniel Sullivan's production stars Blythe Danner as Anna Patterson, the matriarch of a family of artists whose annual summer gathering during the Williamstown Theatre Festival exposes the jealousies within her clan. The cast also includes Eric Lange, Sarah Steele, Daniel Sunjata, David Rasche, and Kate Jennings Grant. Following the performance the company and their guests headed to the Hard Rock Cafe to celebrate.
