It's Magic! Broadway's The Illusionists Recoups Investment

The production runs through January 4 at the Marquis Theatre.

Broadway's The Illusionists — Witness the Impossible, running through January 4 at the Marquis Theatre, has paid back its $1.75 million Broadway investment in just over three weeks of performances. The show officially began its run November 26.

The magic show is described as a "mind-blowing spectacular [that] showcases the jaw-dropping talents of seven of the most incredible illusionists on earth." The show is conceived and produced by Simon Painter.

The cast of The Illusionists includes Yu Ho-Jin (The Manipulator), Dan Sperry (The Anti-Conjuror), Jeff Hobson (The Trickster), Andrew Basso (The Escapologist), Kevin James (The Inventor), Andrew Crow (The Warrior), and Adam Trent (The Futurist). Also featured in the company are Victoria Chimenti, Rob Coglitore, Kelly Conolly, Tenealle Farragher, Lindsey Ferguson, Edward Purnell Hawkins, Antonio Hoyos, Brian Jones, Haruki Kiyama, Todd Hampton, Claudia James, and the band Z.

The show's creative team includes Neil Dorward (director) and Jim Millan (creative director). Tim Lawson serves as executive producer.
