Lesli Margherita and More Set for Reading of The Secret of My Success

A new musical adaptation of the 1987 Michael J. Fox film The Secret of My Success is in the works.
With a book by Gordon Greenberg and Steve Rosen, and a score by Michael Mahler and Alan Schmuckler, The Secret of My Success is the story of a young man who finds a shortcut that enables him to rise through the ranks to an executive position. The film, directed by Herbert Ross, was written by Jim Cash, Jack Epps Jr., and A.J. Carothers.
Universal Theatrical Group will host a reading of the musical on February 9 in New York City. Greenberg will direct a cast made up of Christian Slater, Lesli Margherita, Chris Dwan, Lilli Cooper, Emily Skinner, Javier Muñoz, Lori Tan Chinn, David Rossmer, Priscilla Lopez, Levi Buksbazen, Courtney Balan, Josh Breckenridge, Kayla Davion, Alyse Alan Louis, Joey Taranto, and Noah Weisberg. Wendy Bobbitt Cavett will serve as musical director.
