Tituss Burgess, Sierra Boggess, and More Set for New York Musical Festival Gala

The event will honor composer and lyricist Duncan Sheik, casting director Tara Rubin, and former NYMF treasurer Frank Troutman.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF), previously known as the New York Musical Theater Festival, will hold its 2016 gala on November 13 at the Edison Ballroom. Hosted by Mo Rocca, the event will honor Tony- and Grammy-winning composer and lyricist Duncan Sheik, casting director Tara Rubin, and former NYMF board member and treasurer Frank Troutman.

The evening will include performances by Darren Ritchie (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Sierra Boggess (School of Rock), Bryce Pinkham (Holiday Inn), Karen Ziemba (Bullets Over Broadway), Lauren Pritchard (Spring Awakening), Treshelle Edmond (Spring Awakening), Dave Thomas Brown (American Pyscho), and Molly Gordon (Animal Kingdom).

There will also be additional appearances by Tony-winning director Susan Stroman (The Producers), Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records president and cofounder, Kurt Deutsch, and Tony nominee Elizabeth A. Davis (Once) as well as performances from 2016 NYMF Festival shows Camp Rolling Hills and Dust Can't Kill Me.

David Alpert will direct, with musical direction by David Dabbon.
