Songwriting team Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen come to 54 Below on Monday, September 15, to debut songs from their new musical Tuck Everlasting, set to premiere at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta this winter. Their two shows, scheduled for 7pm and 9:30pm, will also feature numbers from Miller and Tysen's The Burnt Part Boys and The Mysteries of Harris Burdick.

The lineup of performers slated for the evening's shows includes three-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello (Scandalous), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies), Rachel Bay Jones (Pippin), Barrett Wilbert Weed (Heathers), Fred Applegate (The Last Ship), Michael Park (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Robert Lenzi (South Pacific), Michael Wartella (Wicked), and composer/lyricist Alexander Sage Oyen. Miller and Tysen will perform in as well as host the two shows. The evening will be music-directed by Ben Cohn and will feature Sean Driscoll on guitar.

Based on the award-winning novel by Natalie Babbitt, Tuck Everlasting features a book written by Tony nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde), music by Miller, and lyrics by Tysen. The show was originally slated to have its world premiere production at Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre in summer 2013, eyeing a 2013-14 Broadway run, but was postponed "due to a lack of theatre availability for its planned subsequent production in New York." Carolee Carmello, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Fred Applegate, and Michael Park, who plan to perform with Miller and Tysen at 54 Below, were among the 2013 cast.
