Courtney B. Vance to Guest Star with Kyra Sedgwick on TNT’s The Closer

Stage and screen star Courtney B. Vance will guest star opposite 2010 Emmy Award winner Kyra Sedgwick on the September 13 episode of TNT’s The Closer, according to TVGuide.com.

Vance will play Deputy Chief Tommy Delk, the head of the LAPD’s counter-terrorism division.

Vance’s stage credits include the Broadway production of Fences and the Lincoln Center Theater production of Six Degrees of Separation. He and his wife, Angela Bassett, co-starred in the Guthrie Theatre’s production of The Front Page; they are also co-authors of Friends: A Love Story. Vance’s television credits include Flash Forward and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
