Signature Theatre has announced a fourth extension for the world premiere of Annie Baker’s The Antipodes. Performances will now run through through June 11 (it was most recently announced to close on June 4). The production opened April 23 in the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

The Antipodes is described as “a play about people telling stories about telling stories.” The cast features Phillip James Brannon (Tiny Beautiful Things), Josh Charles (The Good Wife), Josh Hamilton (Madam Secretary), Danny Mastrogiorgio (Gotham), Danny McCarthy (Prison Break), Emily Cass McDonnell (Mercury Fur), Brian Miskell (The Flick), Will Patton (Fool for Love), and Nicole Rodenburg (Venus in Fur).

Lila Neugebauer directs the world premiere — the second production of Pulitzer Prize winner Annie Baker’s Signature residency. The first production of her residency was John, which had an extended run at the Signature Center in summer 2015 and was directed by Tony winner Sam Gold.

The creative team for The Antipodes includes Laura Jellinek (scenic design), Kaye Voyce (costume design), Tyler Micoleau (lighting design), Bray Poor (sound design), and David Neumann (choreographer).
