Canada's Soulpepper Comes to New York City for Month-Long Run

”Soulpepper on 42nd Street” will take place at the Pershing Square Signature Center.

Toronto's Soulpepper Theater Company previewed its upcoming run at the Pershing Square Signature Center today.

Soulpepper's summer season, under the title Soulpepper on 42nd Street, runs July 1-29, with over 65 Canadian actors. Productions include Of Human Bondage, Kim's Convenience, and Spoon River, among others.

Canadian Consul General Phyllis Yaffe and Soulpepper artistic director Albert Schultz will preside over a day-long Canada Day celebration on July 1 that features True North: A Concert of Canada, as well as the American debuts of Kim's Convenience and Of Human Bondage. The July 1 celebration will conclude with a concert and reception at Signature Theatre.
