Beginning July 26, Cole Burden joins the off-Broadway cast of the James Joyce-inspired musical Himself and Nora. He takes on the role of Priest and others at the Minetta Lane Theatre.

Burden was most recently seen onstage in the national tour of The Bridges of Madison County. He also appeared in the national tour of Les Misérables and in the off-Broadway casts of Applause (Encores!) and Bonnie and Clyde (NYMF).

He joins a cast that stars Matt Bogart (Jersey Boys) as James Joyce and Whitney Bashor (The Bridges of Madison County) as Nora Barnacle, along with Michael McCormick (Chaplin), Gary Troy (Boardwalk Empire), Lianne Marie Dobbs (A Tree Grows in Brooklyn), and Victoria Huston-Elem (The Addams Family National Tour).

Himself and Nora, which features book and score by Jonathan Brielle, explores the relationship between author James Joyce (Bogart) and Nora (Bashor), the country girl from Galway whose burning sexuality and acerbic wit inspired the genius.

Directed by Michael Bush, the production has musical direction by James Sampliner, choreography by Kelli Barclay, set design by Paul Tate dePoo III, costume design by Amy Clark, lighting design by Jason Lyons, and sound design by Keith Caggiano.
