Daniel J. Watts, who currently appears in Broadway's Hamilton, will present his show The Jam: Love Terrorists for one night only on July 31 at Webster Hall. The show is produced by Watts and WattsWords Productions, in association with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. It will serve as a benefit following the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando.

The Jam pays homage to Watts’ great-grandmother who, after making jam from scratch, would share with others what she was unable to consume herself. It is his continuation of that legacy featuring his original spoken word, often set to music and dance.

Watts will be joined by his band the InnerView, including lead vocalist Derrick Baskin, Ephraim Sykes on drums and vocals, Taharqa Patterson on guitar and vocals, Voltaire Wade-Greene on bass and vocals, and Taylor Williams on keys, with Preston Dugger III (aka DJ Duggz) spinning through the evening. It will also feature performances by cast members from Hamilton, On Your Feet!, and Shuffle Along.
