Orange Is the New Black cast member Catherine Curtin will lead the company of Ginger Lazarus' Burning, a new play inspired by Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac. The drama will run in repertory with Cyrano as part of Resonance Ensemble's 11th season, subtitled The Language of Love.

Burning, directed by Eric Parness, tells the story of Cy, a woman kicked out of the army for being gay, who suffers from insecurity that prevents her from pursuing love. She now takes on the world with her words, blogging from her country store in a remote Western town near the base where she last served. The company will also include Chris Ceraso, Zachary Clarence, Shaun Bennet Fauntleroy, and Sean Phillips. Performances begin February 3 at 2pm, with opening night set for February 7 at 7pm.

Cyrano de Bergerac itself, will be directed by Gabriel Barre (Amazing Grace), who will also star in the title role. He is joined by Bridget Saracino as Roxanne, Evan Alexander Smith as Christian, with Rin Allen, Joe Jung, Mark Peters, Alexander Sovronsky, and Louis Tucci. Performances begin February 3 at 8pm, with opening night set for February 8.

The productions will continue through February 28 at the Theatre at St. Clement's.
