Playwrights Realm kicks off its 10th-anniversary season with the world premiere of Sarah Delappe’s The Wolves, which the company celebrated on September 8. Directed by Lila Neugebauer and featuring a cast of 10 female actors, the production will run through September 24 at the Realm's new home for the 2016-17 season, the Duke on 42nd Street.

In The Wolves, a girls indoor soccer team "navigates big questions and wages tiny battles" from the safety of their suburban stretch circle. The play is described as "a portrait of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for nine American teens who just want to score some goals."

The company is made up of Brenna Coates, Jenna Dioguardi, Samia Finnerty, Midori Francis, Lizzy Jutila Sarah Mezzanotte, Tedra Millan, Lauren Patten, and Susannah Perkins.
