John Cariani, Jason Danieley, and More to Star in Transport Group's Man of La Mancha

Transport Group has announced initial casting for its upcoming concert presentation of Man of La Mancha on December 18 at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center.
John Cariani, Jason Danieley, Santino Fontana, Marc Kudisch, Julia Murney, Bryce Pinkham, Andrew Samonksy, Mary Testa, George Abud, Stanley Bahorek, Sherry Boone, Jessica Fontana, Hunter Ryan Herdlicka, Tally Sessions, Tim Dolan, Michael De Souza, Stephen Mir, Doug Shapiro, Jason SweetTooth Williams, and Rowan Vickers will all star. Additional casting will be announced later.
Transport Group artistic director Jack Cummings III will direct, and the production will feature original orchestrations.
Written by Dale Wasserman with music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion, Man of La Mancha is described as a "glorious affirmation of the unyielding resilience of the human spirit that will leave audiences breathless." Inspired by Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote, the musical enters the mind and world of a mad knight as he pursues his quest for the impossible dream.
