Irish Repertory Theatre has announced plans for a new "24 for $24" ticket initiative. For each preview performance, 24 tickets will be available for $24 each. Tickets are limited to two per person, with no age restriction, and all 24 for $24 tickets will go on sale at noon two weeks before the first preview performance.

The program will kick off with Conor McPherson’s Shining City, which will inaugurate Irish Rep’s newly renovated theater. The production will begin previews on May 17, with opening night set for June 9. The strictly limited engagement is set to run through July 3.

Directed by Ciarán O’Reilly, Shining City stars two-time Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick, along with Billy Carter, Lisa Dwan, and James Russell.

The play features scenic design by Charlie Corcoran, costume design by Martha Hally, lighting design by Michael Gottlieb, and sound design by Ryan Rumery.
