Joel Grey Honored by York Theatre Company

The York Theatre Company honored Broadway icon Joel Grey with the 25th Oscar Hammerstein Award for Lifetime Achievement in Musical Theatre at its 2016 gala on December 5. The event took place at the Asia Society.
The Oscar Hammerstein Award, named in honor of the master lyricist and librettist, recognizes significant lifetime achievement in musical theater. The award is endorsed by the Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization and the Hammerstein Family. The evening’s entertainment will be directed by Denis Jones, with music direction by Rob Berman, and featured performances by Sutton Foster, Bernadette Peters, and more.
