Labyrinth Theater Company has extended the New York premiere of The Way West by Mona Mansour. The production, which opened on March 16 at Bank Street Theatre, will now close on April 10. Labyrinth artistic director Mimi O’Donnell helms the show.

Labyrinth Company Member and Obie award-winner Deirdre O’Connell stars as Mom in The Way West alongside Nadia Bowers as Manda, Curran Connor as Robbie/Delivery Guy, Alfredo Narcisco as Luis, Anna O’Donoghue as Meesh, and Portia as Tress.

In the play, Mom has entered a new chapter in her life, but that doesn’t stop her from spending money or digging herself deeper into debt. When her two daughters decide to stage a financial intervention, things look like they’re getting better.

The creative team includes David Meyer (sets), Bradley King (lights), Ryan Rumery (sound), Ásta Bennie Hostetter (costumes), and Lily Perlmutter (production stage manager).
