Tony and Emmy winner Laurie Metcalf will be honored at MCC Theater's annual Miscast gala, set to take place on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Metcalf, who won a Tony for her performance as Nora in A Doll's House, Part 2, is currently filming a reboot of the television sitcom Roseanne, after winning three Emmys for her work as Jackie Harris during the show's original run. She worked with MCC Theater in the off-Broadway and Broadway production of The Other Place. Metcalf will next be seen on Broadway in Three Tall Women.

The event will also honor performer Amy León with the 2018 MCC Theater Youth Company Alumni Award. León was a member of the MCC Theater Youth Company from 2008-2011.

MCC Theater’s annual Miscast gala finds Broadway’s hottest stars performing songs from roles in which they would never be cast. An all-star lineup of performers will be announced at a later date.
