The Public Theater announced the complete cast for its world premiere production of Mlima's Tale, the latest from two-time Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage (Sweat). The play will run March 27-May 20 in the Public Theater's Martinson Hall, with opening night set for Sunday, April 15.

Ito Aghayere, Jojo Gonzalez, Kevin Mambo, and Sahr Ngaujah will star in the production. Under the direction of Jo Bonney, the creative team will include Riccardo Hernandez (scenic design), Jennifer Moeller (costume design), Lap Chi Chu (lighting design), Darron L. West (sound design), Justin Hicks (original music), and Chris Walker (movement direction).

Mlima's Tale is described as "the story of Mlima, a magnificent elephant trapped in the clandestine international ivory market. Following a trail of greed and desire as old as trade itself, Mlima leads us through memory and fear, history and tradition, and want and need."
