Complete casting has been announced for the Second Stage Theatre production of Tracy Letts' Man From Nebraska, previously announced to star Tony winner Reed Birney (The Humans). Performances are set to begin January 26, 2017, at the Tony Kiser Theatre in advance of a February 15 opening.

Joining Birney in the New York premiere, directed by David Cromer, will be Heidi Armbruster (Time Stands Still), Tom Bloom (Henry IV), Annika Boras (Prodigal Son), Nana Mensah (An African City), Max Gordon Moore (Relatively Speaking), Kathleen Peirce (Cromer’s Our Town), William Ragsdale (Getting Away With Murder), and J. Smith-Cameron (Good Boys and True).

A finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2004, Man From Nebraska follows Ken (Birney), a middle-aged man from Nebraska, who suddenly finds he's lost his faith, along with his sense of purpose, and he goes on a wild adventure to find it. Along the way he encounters a world vastly different from his own, filled with chance meetings and romantic encounters that shake him to the core.

The creative team will feature scenic design by Takeshi Kata, costume design by Sarah Laux, lighting design by Keith Parham, and original music and sound design by Daniel Kluger.
