MCC Theater Announces 2016 PlayLab Reading Selections

MCC Theater has announced selections for its upcoming PlayLab Reading Series throughout the month of September and October. The readings will take place at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.

First up on September 12 is School Girls (Or; The African Mean Girls Play) by Jocelyn Bioh. The cast will include Zainab Jah, Alysha Deslorieux, MaameYaa Boafo, Maechi Aharanwa, Mirirai Sithole, Danaya Esperanza, Myra Lucretia Taylor, and Joniece Abbott-Pratt.

September 19 will feature Xavier Galva's The Parlour, with The Anatomy of Love by Ted Malawer on September 26, and Eric Micha Holmes' Pornplay; or Blessed Are the Meek on October 17.
