What Did You Expect?, the second play of Richard Nelson's three-play cycle, The Gabriels: Election Year in the Life of One Family, is now in performances at the Public Theater.
Written and directed by Nelson, the show runs through October 9. It will return in November and December and run in repertory with Play One: Hungry, and Play Three: Women of a Certain Age, which officially opens at the Public on Election Day, Tuesday, November 8.
The complete cast features Meg Gibson (Karin Gabriel), Lynn Hawley (Hannah Gabriel), Roberta Maxwell (Patricia Gabriel), Maryann Plunkett (Mary Gabriel), Jay O. Sanders (George Gabriel), and Amy Warren (Joyce Gabriel).
