New York Theatre Workshop has announced the individuals to be honored at its 2016 spring gala, scheduled for Monday, March 7, at the Edison Ballroom. The event will pay tribute to NYTW Board of Trustees Co-Presidents Heather Randall and Noel E.D. Kirnon, along with Obie Award-winning collaborators director Ivo van Hove and scenic designer Jan Versweyveld.

The evening will feature special tributes from Tony Kushner, Elizabeth Marvel, Stephen Graham, and Alvin Hall, as well as special musical performances from NYTW artists and productions. Benjamin Shaw will direct, with musical direction by David Dabbon. The live auction will be conducted by C.K. Swett.

Since meeting NYTW artistic director Jim Nicola in 1995, Van Hove and Versweyveld have collaborated on several NYTW productions including The Little Foxes, The Misanthrope, Hedda Gabler, Alice in Bed, A Streetcar Named Desire, More Stately Mansions, Scenes From a Marriage, and this season's acclaimed musical Lazarus, written by David Bowie and Enda Walsh. This Broadway season also boasts two of their collaborations — A View From the Bridge and Arthur Miller’s The Crucible.

Heather Randall has served as both president and co-president of NTYW’s Board of Trustees for nine years. Noel E.D. Kirnon joined Randall as co-president in 2011 after serving as a member of NYTW’s Board of Trustees since 2007 and becoming treasurer in 2010.
