Dance Moms Star Nia Sioux Takes the Stage in Trip of Love

Dance Moms star Nia Sioux joined the company of Trip of Love on July 12. The same night, the show celebrated its 300th performance at Stage 42.

Described as a "dance-musical spectacle," Trip of Love is created, directed, and choreographed by James Walski, and comes to New York following a 2008 run in Osaka, Japan. The show incorporates some of the greatest tunes of the '60s, including "Blowin' in the Wind," "Born to Be Wild," "California Dreamin'," "I Saw Her Standing There," "White Rabbit," "You Don't Own Me," and many more. In the production, Sioux will perform the specialty dance solos in "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," "Moon River," and "Wipe Out."

The cast of Trip of Love currently features Joey Calveri, Kelly Felthous, Bahiyah Hibah, Brandon Leffler, Austin Miller, Tara Palsha, and Laurie Wells, with Yesenia Ayala, Sissy Bell, Bo Broadwell, Ian Campayano, Alexa De Barr, Daniel Lynn Evans, Ashley Blair Fitzgerald, Steve Geary, Jennifer Gruener, Marina Lazzaretto, Colby Q. Lindeman, Connor McRory, Kristin Piro, Connor Schwantes, Kirstin Tucker, and Colt Adam Weiss.
