Primary Stages announced additional programming and events for its winter 2018 season.

Among them are two staged readings. First will be Palmyra, a new play by Daria Polatin, in a reading directed by Portia Krieger and featuring Amir Arison, Tina Benko, Nilanjana Bose, and Eden Zane. The free reading will be held at the Cherry Lane Theatre on Friday, February 23, at 3pm.

The next staged reading will be of Lines in the Dust, written by Nikkole Salter and directed by Cheryl Katz. This reading will be held at Primary Stages Studios on Tuesday, March 27, at 3pm.

In addition, Primary Stages will host an open meetup on Monday, March 26, at 3pm with the women of the Dorset Theatre Festival's Women Artists Writing Group. The writers will present excerpts from their works in progress and participate in a brief talkback about where they’ve been, what they’re working on, and what’s next. Heidi Armbruster, Mary Bacon, Carolyn Bost, Michelle Beck, Laura Gomez, Mariana Newhard, Elizabeth Kelly, Donna Eis, Sharahn LaRue McClung, Maggie Bofill, Heather Simms, and Mathilde Dratwa will all participate in the free event, to take place at Primary Stages Studios.
