Roundabout Underground Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Roundabout Theater Company toasts its initiative that helps foster new works by emerging theater artists.

Roundabout Theatre Company celebrated the 10th anniversary of its Roundabout Underground program on January 30 at the American Airlines Theatre.

Roundabout Underground helps foster new works by emerging theater artists, producing their plays in Roundabout's Black Box Theatre located within the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre. Plays that have originated as part of the program include Stephen Karam's Speech & Debate, David West Read's The Dream of the Burning Boy, Joshua Harmon's Bad Jews, Lindsey Ferrentino's Ugly Lies the Bone, and Jenny Rachel Weiner's Kingdom Come, among others. Next up is Martin Zimmerman's On the Exhale.
