Shows for Days follows Car (Michael Urie), a 14-year-old Reading, Pennsylvania native introduced to the world of theater at his local community theater, the Prometheus, an organization led by Irene (Patti LuPone), a force of nature who directs, designs, and stars in every play. The play is described as author Douglas Carter Beane’s "fond remembrance of his immersion into a life in the theater." The cast also includes Dale Soules, Jordan Dean, Lance Coadie Williams, and Zoë Winters.
