Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, Our Lady of 121st Street on Tap for Signature Theatre

Stephen Adly Guirgis’ dramas will be revived in the 2017-18 season.

Iconic plays by Suzan-Lori Parks, Stephen Adly Guirgis, and Edward Albee are on tap for the new season at Signature Theatre's Pershing Square Signature Center.

Parks' F**king A and In the Blood will be presented as The Red Letter Plays. F**king A will be directed by Jo Bonney and run August 22-October 1 in the Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, and In the Blood will be directed by Sarah Benson and will run August 29-October 8 in the Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre.

Guirgis will kick off his residency with revivals of Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, directed by Ruben Santiago-Hudson (October 3-November 12), and Our Lady of 121st Street, directed by Anne Kauffman (May 1-June 10, 2018).

Albee's At Home at the Zoo: Homelife & The Zoo Story will be presented January 30-March 11, 2018, rights pending, with Lila Neugebauer directing.

Santiago-Hudson will also direct Dominique Morisseau's Paradise Blue, April 24-June 3, 2018.
