Originally set to close on February 4, off-Broadway's The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, will extend its run through April 8 at Union Square’s DR2 Theatre. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show was nominated for a Drama Desk and Off-Broadway Alliance Award.

A theatrical re-creation of Eric Carle’s imaginative stories, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show features a menagerie of puppets that take the stage during a magical 60-minute show that faithfully adapts four of Carle’s books. This new edition of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show includes Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, The Very Lonely Firefly, and, of course, The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show has performed around the globe including Dubai, New Zealand, Australia, the U.K., and San Francisco, and will get productions in Dallas, Oregon, and Toronto later this year.
