Transport Group Announces Man of La Mancha, Promises, Promises Concerts

Both performances are part of its Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series of one-night-only musical events.

Transport Group announced two upcoming events as part of its Anne L. Bernstein Concert Series of concert performances of Broadway musicals: Man of La Mancha on December 18, and Promises, Promises on June 25, 2018. Both will take place at the Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center.

Man of La Mancha is written by Dale Wasserman, and has music by Mitch Leigh and lyrics by Joe Darion. Based on the screenplay The Apartment by Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond, Promises, Promises has a book by Neil Simon, music by Burt Bacharach, and lyrics by Hal David.

Transport Group artistic director Jack Cummings III will direct both concerts, and both will feature original orchestrations. Casting will be announced later.
