The York Theatre Company has announced details for a post-Thanksgiving edition of its musical theater game show Tune in Time, hosted by Emily McNamara. Presented by Amy Engelhardt and Heather Shields, it will take place Monday, November 28.

The show is described as the "Musical Theater Olympics." The show features three teams of composers and lyricists who have never worked together, are forced to collaborate — and beat the clock! Their task is to write a song from a new Broadway musical, the title of which is picked from a hatful of audience suggestions — in the style determined by a spin of the dreaded Genre Wheel — all within 20 minutes. Nate Buccieri will lend music direction while Sheila Head serves as the "annoyingly insistent timekeeper."

Songwriters confirmed are Avi Amon, Drew Fornarola, Clay Zambo, Amanda D’Archangelis, Billy Recce, and Alex Rubin.

The writers' work will then be critiqued by an illustrious three-person panel that includes Debra Barsha, Abby O’Brien, and Staci Levine.
