The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show Offers Free Tickets to 1000th Performance

Off-Broadway's The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show will mark its 1,000th worldwide performance on January 21 at 4pm. In celebration of the milestone, the New York production, running through April 8 at the at Union Square’s DR2 Theatre, will offer a lottery for free tickets to the January 21 performance. Entries will be accepted January 3-10, with the winner chosen on January 12. Click here to enter.

Nominated for a Drama Desk and an Off-Broadway Alliance Award, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show features a menagerie of puppets that take the stage during a magical 60-minute show that faithfully adapts four of Eric Carle’s books. Alongside the title work, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show includes Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, and The Very Lonely Firefly.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show has performed around the globe including Dubai, New Zealand, Australia, the U.K., and San Francisco, and will get productions in Dallas, Oregon, and Toronto later this year.
