Fun Home Tony nominee Beth Malone will return to the title role of The Unsinkable Molly Brown this summer at The Muny in St. Louis. Directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall (In Transit), the show will run July 21-27 in the historic outdoor venue.

This revised edition of Meredith Willson's classic musical premiered in 2014 at the Denver Theater Center, where Malone starred and Marshall directed and choreographed. It features a new book and additional lyrics by Dick Scanlan (Thoroughly Modern Millie), with musical adaptation by Michael Rafter (Violet). The original book was written by Richard Morris.

Malone received the Henry Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Musical for her performance in 2014. Along with Fun Home, her theatrical credits include Ring of Fire, Bingo!, and The Marvelous Wonderettes, among other shows.

Full casting and information will be announced in the coming months.
