The Muny Announces Creative Teams for Its 100th Season

The season will include productions of ”The Wiz”, ”Jersey Boys”, and ”Gypsy”.

The Muny announced the creative teams for its 100th season.

Cynthia Onrubia will direct the opening production of the season, of the revue Jerome Robbins' Broadway, with Chris Bailey as production supervisor and Michael Horsley as music director. It will run June 11-17, 2018.

Denis Jones will direct its next production, of The Wiz, with Camille A. Brown as choreographer and Darryl Archibald as music director. It will run June 19-25, 2018.

Marc Bruni will direct the stage adaptation of Singin' in the Rain, with Rommy Sandhu as choreographer and Ben Whiteley as music director. It will run June 27-July 3, 2018.

Josh Rhodes will then direct and choreograph the Muny's production of Jersey Boys, with Rick Bertone as music director. It will run July 9-16, 2018.

John Tartaglia will then direct its production of Annie, with Jessica Hartman as choreographer and Colin Welford as music director. It will run July 18-25, 2018.

Rob Ruggiero will direct Gypsy, with Ralph Perkins as choreographer and James Moore as music director. It will run July 27-August 2, 2018.

And finally, the season will close with Hugh Martin, Ralph Blane, and Hugh Wheeler's stage adaptation of Meet Me in St. Louis, with Marcia Milgrom Dodge as director, Josh Walden as choreographer, and Charlie Alterman as music director. It will run August 4-12, 2018.
