Kathleen Marshall, Marcia Milgrom Dodge, and More to Helm the Muny's 2017 Season

The Muny has announced the creative teams attached to its 2017 season productions.
Gordon Greenberg (Holiday Inn) will direct Jesus Christ Superstar (June 12-18, 2017), with choreography by Jon Rua (Hamilton) and music direction by Andrew Graham (Aida at the Muny).
Tony nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime) will then helm the Muny production of The Little Mermaid (June 20-29, 2017) alongside choreographer Josh Walden (The Buddy Holly Story at the Muny) and music director Charlie Alterman (Pippin).
Stephen Sondheim's A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (July 5-11, 2017) will be directed by Gary Griffin (Honeymoon in Vegas), with choreography by Alex Sanchez (Far From Heaven) and music direction by Brad Haak (An American in Paris).
Tony nominee Dan Knechtges (Xanadu) will then direct the Elvis Presley musical All Shook Up (July 13-19, 2017). Jessica Hartman (Lysistrata Jones) will choreograph with music direction again by Charlie Alterman.
Three-time Tony-winning choreographer Kathleen Marshall (In Transit) will direct and choreograph The Unsinkable Molly Brown (July 21-27, 2017), with music direction and vocal and incidental arrangements by Michael Rafter (Violet).
A Chorus Line (July 29-August 4, 2017) will be directed and choreographed by Denis Jones (Holiday Inn) with music direction by Ben Whiteley (1776 at City Center Encores!).
Finally, Chris Bailey (choreographer for the 2013 Tony Awards) will direct and choreograph the Muny production of Newsies (August 7-13, 2017). The Muny's music supervisor Michael Horsley (Irving Berlin's White Christmas) will lend music direction.
