Jeff McCarthy will play King Arthur, Jenny Powers will play Guenevere, and Lewis Cleale will play Lancelot in the St. Louis MUNY production of Camelot, July 27-August 2. Bud Widney will direct.
The Lerner and Loewe musical tells the legendary Arthurian tale of the glory that burned for “one brief, shining moment.” The cast will also include Joneal Joplin (Merlyn), Raymond Fournie (Sir Dinadan), Justin Scott Brown (Dap), Fred Applegate (Pellinore), Allen E. Read (Mordred), and Christian Probst (Tom of Warwick).
The ensemble will feature Amy Michel Allen, Erik Altemus, Lori Barrett-Pagano, Justin Scott Brown, Will Burton, Derek Carley, Lois Enders, John Flack, Duane Martin Foster, Raymond Fournie, Katie Hart, Leah Hofmann, Ashley Krupinksi, Kristy Luehm, Nathan Madden, Jane Pisarkiewicz, Rich Pisarkiewicz, Peggy Quinn, John Riddle, Alex Shaw, Derek St. Pierre, and Madeline Trumble.
The creative team will include Gemze DeLappe (choreographer), Sam Davis (musical director), Steve Gilliam (set), and David Lander (lighting).
