Forbidden Broadway to Play Miami During NYC Hiatus

Forbidden Broadway: Rude Awakening will take a three-month hiatus from New York’s 47th Street Theatre, beginning on March 25. The show will resume performances in New York on June 28.

During the hiatus, Forbidden Broadway will play March 25-April 13 at Miami’s Adrienne Arsht Center (formerly known as the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts). The show will feature Jared Bradshaw, Janet Dickinson, Valerie Fagan and Michael West with David Caldwell on piano.

Gerard Alessandrini’s latest edition of his Tony Award-winning musical comedy includes spoofs of shows including Les Miserables, Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Hairspray, Spamalot, and Avenue Q.
