David Sedaris' Santaland Diaries Kicks Off Its Alley Theatre Run

Alley Theatre's annual production of David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries begins performances tonight, December 1, for a run through December 31. The show is recommended for mature audiences.

Directed by David Comer, the production stars Todd Waite, who takes on this solo show for the eighth consecutive year. Adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello, the work chronicles Sedaris’ experience as a worker in Macy’s SantaLand display.

The production features scenic design by Karin Rabe Vance, costume design by Blaire Gulledge, lighting design by Kevin Rigdon, and sound design by Pierre Dupree.
