Come From Away Soars Into Standing Ovations on Opening Night

Newfoundlanders get a Broadway welcome as a brand-new original musical joins the season.

Come From Away opened last night at the Schoenfeld Theatre, officially becoming Broadway's musical of heartwarming good will. The biographical narrative follows the stories of the 7,000 passengers whose planes were rerouted to Newfoundland on September 11, 2001, and were greeted with music, drink, and Canadian hospitality. Take a look as we chatted with the show's creators, cast members, and a few of their real-life counterparts after the curtain came down on another joyful performance.
