Broadway First Dates: Richard H. Blake and Teri Thomas

A romance blossoms for two childhood competitors, but it wasn't entirely Footloose and fancy-free.

The relationship of A Bronx Tale's Richard H. Blake and his wife, fellow Broadway vet Teri DiGianfelice Thomas, dates back to their childhood. As kids, they were rivals in dance competitions, which wasn't always pleasant. In their 20s, they managed to become ensemble partners in the Broadway and touring productions of Footloose. It was during that time that they recognized their shared history as childhood competitors…and it soon led to a relationship that's been going strong for decades.
