Glee’s Jane Lynch and Her Annie on Broadway Costars on Funniness and The Magic of the Footlights

Annie’s Lilla Crawford, Anthony Warlow, Brynn O’Malley, and more beam with excitement about sharing the stage with one of Hollywood’s comedy favorites.

Annie cast members Lilla Crawford, Anthony Warlow, Brynn O’Malley, Clarke Thorell, original songwriters Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, and more gathered at midtown’s Ruby Foo’s on Thursday, May 17 to celebrate Glee star Jane Lynch’s first performance as Miss Hannigan in Broadway’s Annie.

The Broadway stars spoke to TheaterMania about the experience of working with one of Hollywood’s finest (and funniest) and Jane Lynch’s singular stage presence. Lynch, who spent some of the early years of her career at Chicago’s Steppenwolf Theatre Company, talked about the thrill of getting back on stage and how she feels about her opening night (hint: she thinks it went swimmingly).
