Laura Osnes and Corey Cott Sing the Tunes of Broadway's Bandstand

The new musical features choreography by Hamilton's Andy Blankenbuehler.

Broadway favorites Laura Osnes and Corey Cott are returning to Broadway this spring in the brand-new musical Bandstand. In the show, Cott plays Donny, a World War II vet who returns home from the frontlines and decides to enter a songwriting competition that could bring him fame and fortune. Osnes takes on the role Julia, the war widow of Donny's pal and his new lead singer. At a swanky press event today at the Rainbow Room, the pair and the show's ensemble previewed Richard Oberacker and Robert Taylor's jazz-driven score and Andy Blankenbuehler's swinging choreography to give audiences a first taste.
