Panic! At the Disco's Brendon Urie Gets Ready to Join Broadway's Kinky Boots

Urie offers a preview of his take on Cyndi Lauper's tune "Soul of a Man."

Panic! At the Disco front man Brendon Urie is gearing up to make his Broadway debut as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots. When Urie was offered the role, he jumped at the chance, telling TheaterMania that he would have played any role just to become a member of the Kinky family. And not only does he like wearing the show's bright red heels, he also loves singing Cyndi Lauper's score. At a recent press event, he sang "Soul of a Man" — and proved why his May 26-August 6 run will be something his fans, and theater fans, will be talking about for quite some time.
