Phillipa Soo and Her Dreamy Costars Celebrate Amélie's Broadway Opening

Jean-Pierre Jeunet's beloved film character makes her Broadway debut.

The new stage adaptation of Amélie opened last night at the Walter Kerr Theatre, adding a brand-new musical to Broadway's repertoire. Hamilton veteran Phillipa Soo leads the cast in the famously quirky title role with Adam Chanler-Berat as her equally eccentric love interest, Nino. After the curtain came down, we chatted with the cast and creative team (led by Tony winner Pam MacKinnon) about the imaginative production's journey to the Great White Way.
