Theater Gone Wrong: Andrew Keenan-Bolger Has a Striking Snafu During Newsies

Spoiler alert: He's back on Broadway in Tuck Everlasting, so the mistake didn't hurt his career.

Before Andrew Keenan-Bolger started dancing up a storm at the Broadhurst Theatre as the star of Tuck Everlasting, he was slightly less mobile as Crutchie in Broadway's Newsies. As his character's name might suggest, he didn't do too much of the stage acrobatics. But as an active member of the New York City Newsboys Strike of 1899, Crutchie did his fair share of protesting — except for one night when a misplaced prop threw off his game.
