Theater Gone Wrong: Anika Larsen Dodges a Beautiful Disaster

When you play a lyricist, things get stressful when you forget the words.

Anika Larsen has only a little over a month at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre before she exits her Tony-nominated role as lyricist Cynthia Weil in Beautiful — The Carole King Musical. As she prepares to bid farewell to Broadway, she looks back at an early onstage panic where a song verse slipped from her mind at a particularly inopportune moment.
